virusPHIX™ is a novel RNA stabiliser and virus inactivation reagent to enable safer handling and transport of samples.
virusPHIX™ has been successfully used to inactivate the Dengue Virus, to allow sample handling in a Cat. 3 laboratory to a Cat. 2 environment. virusPHIX™ has also inactivated Influenza A (Cat. 2 virus) for safer transport. (Source – The Pasteur Institute).

Other viruses successfully inactivated by virusPHIX™ include Vaccinia, Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, Hepatitis B (duck) and Bovine Viral Diarrhoea Virus.
